Class # 4 Translation  Follow Up


Describe The Artist's Process ? Jackson Pollock Would Usually Put The Canvas Or Whatever Object /Materials He Was Going To Use From There He Would Use His Arms To Throw Paint Across The a Canvas , I Think He Was Painting A Desert.. It Totally Looked A Hot Mess At First. But The Man Is A Genius, Whatever He Did Worked For Him Because The Final Product Came Out Beautifully .











What Information Is The Artist  Is Trying To Translate Through This Process ?








Describe The Artist's Process? What Really Caught My Eye Is The Fact That Jackson Pollock Would Sometimes Put A Canvas Or Whatever Material He Was Using In The Middle Of The Floor While His Drawing ( Creating Art) From There He Would Use His Arms To Throw Paint All Over The Canvas. I'm Sure At First It Looked Like A Total Mess But The Final Product Came Out Looking Amazing. I Love The Fact That He Didn't Follow Any Rules But Went With What He Felt Like That People Like That Are Always The Best Artist.

What Information Is The Artist Trying To Translate Through This Process ? In My Opinion I Think That He Was Translating Creativity And Freedom Of  Choice ( If There Is Such A Thing ). There Isn't Really A Good Or Bad Way To Create Art . Just Be Yourself & Let Your Idea Be Shown Through Your Work .


What Other Information Is ( intentionally Or Unintentionally ) Captured In The Finished  Visuall Or Audio Work ?  I Guess That It's Okay To Be Creative And Come Up With New Ways To Make Things As Long As It's Working For You & You're Comfortable Doing It. It's Not  Always Best To Follow Other People's Idea/Suggestions. What Works For Someone Else Might Not Work For You, Think Outside The Box And Just Explore Your Options . It Might Turn Out To Be The Greatest Thing(s) You've Ever Done












 




 


 Is The Final Outcome  Of The Process  Interesting To You ? Why ? Yes The Final Outcome is Interesting To Me Simply Because Of The Objects/ Materials The artist Used To Created The Final Product. It Was Very Creative Which Is Always A Wonderful Thing.
