Class-12#Manifesto-Homework !!!

Since  A Manifesto Is Sort Of Like A Declaration & If I Really Had To Create One Or A set Of Rules For People To Follow. It Would Probably Be As Followed " People Shouldn't Have Children Unless They're Are Mentally, Physically, Emotionally & Financially Stable "  " Fathers Should Always Be Involved In Their Children Lives Regardless Of Anything" The reason Being, Is Because My Father Wasn't Involved In My Life Nor Around How He Should've Been & Due To That I Had A Really Hard Time Growing Up & Even Now As A Young Woman I am Struggling To Find Out Who I Am & My Purpose On Earth. Even Though I Am Not A Mother; However, I am very Passionate When lt to Comes To Children  & I Don't That It's Fair That 60% Percent Of The Time They End Up Suffering Because Of Their Parents Mistakes.
My Grandma Used To Beat Or Hit Me With Anything Within Her Reach Therefore My Second Rule Would Be " Children Should Not Be Hit, Beaten, Or Tortured" Having Gone Through That Myself, I Am Really Against Child Abused . My Last Rule Would Probably Be " Children/Young Adults Should Be Able To Make Their Decisions Or Lives How They Want To" In My Culture, Parents Thinks It's Okay To Tell You What To Do, How To Do It, When To Do, What To Wear, What To Eat Or What Career Path To Follow. I Don't Think It's Right, As Young Adults I Think We Should Be Allowed Some Freedom To Make Our Own Mistakes & Learn From Them In Return. I am 22 Years Old & My Mom Thinks Is Ok To Still Try To Control My Life & Its Very Annoying . Everything I've Mentioned Are Very Personal & From The Heart & If It Was Really Up To Me I'd Really Try My Best Enforced Those Rules That Way No one Would Have To Go Through What I Went Through .

Class #9#Intervention

I spent all week trying to come up with a "public intervention" but I was unable to come up with anything special. Since they're so many people  who are either battling cancer & lost their lives  because of that deadly disease but most importantly  I just found out that my uncle is diagnosed with colon cancer so I decided to do my intervention about / against cancer . I basically took my uncle' pills & I used them to form words & it Reads " Say No To Cancer" , I know It Was Supposed To be something like a sculpture  I make either at work/ or the street but this is just as good & it's personal & from the heart .

Class #9 Followup: Survival

1. Write a short paragraph response describing which of the lecture artist's interpretation of escaping, advancing, or repairing  society you most agree with, and why ?

The lecture artist's interpretation of escaping ,advancing, or repairing society I agree with the most is Michael Rakowitz. I'm very passionate about helping others the best way I can & the fact that he took time out of his day to create Tents something that was helpful to the less fortunate people (Homeless people ) other than himself really touch my heart. That was thoughtful and unselfish, that speak volumes of the kind of person he is. If people thought more like him , the universe would really be a better place . He basically made a difference, while changing people's lives for the better .

Class #7

The First Picture Is Called "The Japanese Bridge" It Was Created/Made In The Year 1913 In Cleveland .It's Basically 101 Years Old. The Artist name is William Sommer & Its From The "Modernism" Era. I chose This Piece Of Art Because it is Extraordinary, It Is Simple But Eye Catching At The Same That. I Love How The Artist Took His Time To Create It, From The Shape Of The Bridge ,To The a Color Lake, & The House On Top Of The Hill. Everything Coordinate One Another. The Choice Of Colors Plays A Major Role On The Outcome Of The Art Piece .
The Second Piece Of Art That Caught My Attention Is The " Sun And Moon " By Robert Delaunay. It Was Created In Paris Between The Years 1912-1913 I'm Not Too Sure . I Chose It Because It's Similar To The First One ( The Japanese Bridge ) .. Although They're Not The Same Or From The Same Artists, But To Me The Colors Are Basically The Same. I See Red, Green, Yellow, Purple Etc. I Like The Fact That It's Just As Beautiful As The First One. It Reminds Me Of Calm Day, You Know Like Sort Of  Mellow, Not Too Cold Nor Too Hot Kind Of Day.
In My Opinion I Feel Like Both Artist Did A Great Job. It Doesn't Matter How An Artist Chooses To Do Their Work, Art Is A Form Of Expression And Relaxation. There Is No Wrong Or Right Way To Create Art. The Best To Do Is Let a Your Imagination Run Wild, Do Your Best & Whatever You Know Will Show At The End Of The Day . There's No Doubt That Both Artist Did A Great Job, They Took Their Time & They Are Both Beautiful .

Favorite Dish Project !!

One Of My  Favorite Dish To Make/Cook/Bake Is Patties. Favoritebly Haitian Patties. I Started Making Patties As Young As 7 Years Old. In Fact, The First a Time I Tried Making Them, It Was A Total  Disasters. They Were So Bad To The Point That No One Wanted To Try Them Out. I've Had Other Patties Such As Jamaican Beef Patties,However, Haitain Patties Are On Top Of The List For Me. It's From My Culture, I Enjoy Making It But Most Importantly I Love Eating It. It's Been About 15 Years Since Ive  Been Making It, I Really Good At Making Patties & They Final Product Always Come Out Beautifully .

Seasonings, All Purpose Flour, Boiled Eggs, Black Pepper, Water & Onions.

First Step : Mix The Water & The Seasonings Together In A Bowl

Step 2: Add The Flour To Water Mix It We'll

Step 2-A Mix It Untill It Looks Like Something Like This

Step :3 Flatten The Dough On A Flat Plate ( It Should Like Simething Like This .

Step 3(A) . Chopped The Onions Into Small Pieces As Well As The Egg(s)

Final Step: Is To Either Bake The Pattie(s) Or Fry It.

The Pattiies Should Come Out Looking Like This Depending On Either If It Was Baked Or Fried. I Chose To Bake Mine Because I Didn't Want To Deal With Oil & The Mess That Comes With It. It Took About an Hour And Half For Me Accomplished The Whole Project. It Was Fun, I Loved Doing It, It Was Relaxing .

Class #5 Part 3

I Was Born Into A Christian Family Ever Since I Was Little, As Young As Four Years Old My Mother Would Always Teach Me Or Tell Me To "Pray" Because In My Religion It's Believed That Prayers Changes Things & Make Miracles Happen. I Would Not Consider Praying A Skill But It Important To Me As Well As My Family.I've Been Praying For So Long That At This PointI Don't See It As A Skill But More Like A Part Of Me Or Who I Am. I'm Not Saying That I'm The Most Religious Person  Because There Are Times That I Don't Go To Church For A Long Amount Of Time But That Never Stopped Me From Thanking God For Protecting Me & For Continuously Blessing Me And Seeing Me Through. Praying Is A Time For Saying Thank You & Asking For Forgiveness. People Usually Get On Their Knees To Pray But I Don't Do That, I Rather Lay On My Bed & Before Sleep.  If I Had To Use A Material To Pray I Think That It'd Be The Bible & It Would Definitely Be In My Room Because That's Where I'm At Peace. I Don't Think That I'd Pray With People Simply Because I Wouldn't Be Able To Keep Focused . I Always Do Best Alone When It Comes To Things That Requires My Full Undivided Attention .

Class #5-Followup MOMA & Translation

This Is The Piece Of Art That I've Chosen To Do My 13 categories Content On , Simply Because It Really Caught My Eyes. It Actually Reminds Of An Episode Of Xena The Princess Warrior. In The Episode Xena Had To Go Save Grabriel From Hell. I'm Not Actually Into Dark Things But The Colors Pulled Me In, I'm A Color Lover, Anything Colorfully, I Want . The Artist's Choice Of Colors Stands Out Beautifully. I Don't Know, Maybe I'm Reading Too Much Into The Painting...In My Opinion The Redish Orange Color From The Top Left Corner & The Redish Yellow In The Center  Represents The Internal Fire " Forever Burning, Everlasting Fire " Basically "Hell". I Don't Believe Hell Exists But If It Does It's Not Somewhere Id Want To Be. The Dark Green From The Top & The Greyish Colors At The Bottom Maybe Represents The " Monsters". It's Dark, It's Scary But It's Hard Not To Take A Minute To Figure Out What It Is About. I'm Not Sure Who's The Artist Behind This Painting But I'd Love To Find Out What Was The Purpose For It & If There Was A Reason Why He/She Uses The Colors They Did. I Also Feel Like Maybe The Artist Was Going To Through A " Dark Stage" Or " Rough Time" Because Some Artist Used Art As A Way To Express What They Are Going Through, Mood, Emotion, Feels , Etc. Maybe That's Why This Artist Did. I Looks Like It Took A While To Create & I Also Love The Fact That It's Overlapping But A Good Sort Of Way, The Colors Goes Well Together Almost Like They Were Made For Each Other. This Painting Is Amazing & Its Breathe Taking.
